PC용 고전게임을 윈도우에서 하려면, 대부분 사운드쪽에서 좀 설정하기가 힘듭니다.

VDSSound 를 설치하시면 이 사운드를 emulation 해서 사운드 카드로 나오게 해줍니다.

 

소스 포지 open project로 진행되고 있으며,

VDMSound is a modular, extendable soundcard (and other "legacy" hardware) emulator for MS Windows NT/2000 DOS boxes.

라는 설명이 있네요.

사용 방법은.. 설치 후,

게임 실행 파일에서 오른 클릭을 하시면,

팝업창에 run with VDMS 라는 메뉴가 나옵니다.

그것으로 실행하시면 자동으로 VDMS Dos Emulation이 되고 게임이 시작합니다.
